Ny PC.

Billigt hos Komplett. Ja, jeg vil have 8GB :P PSU: http://www.komplett.dk[...] Silver Power SP-SS750M 750W PSU Denne er jeg sikker på. På baggrund af seperat tråd om dette. Kabinet: Silencio http://www.komplett.dk[...]

Ja, jeg vil have 8GB :P" - listen to those who knows seomthing about it ;) RAM: http://www.komplett.dk[...] 4GB will be perfect: http://www.tomshardware.com[...] CL9 will be fine: http://www.bit-tech.net[...] Vengeance radiators are incompatible with some cpu coolers. More silent PSU: http://www.komplett.dk[...] - fanless mode up to 20% load. Crucial m4 64GB (60GB usable space) for Windows 7, installed games and programs - if 60GB is enough, where did you hear about those problems? - it`s not a SandForce SSD. SSD = no mechanical components = no noise, must have for someone who likes silence. HDD`s irritating operating noise will be gone. You gonna need a decent cpu cooler - temperatures inside Silencio 550 will be bad due to "no top fan". You can also think about Fractal Core 3000 case: http://www.komplett.dk[...] CM Hyper 212+ will be fine for Core 3000: http://www.komplett.dk[...] With ASUS Fan Xpert software you can set 2 fans to rpm range of 40 -> 100% speed, so f.e. you can set 212+`s speed to constant 800rpm (40%) and top fan of Fractal Core 3000 @ 400rpm (if it can handle such a low speed) ... so the PC is silent.

I saw ... Noctua NH-D14 photos inside Silencio, but it was tight. So ... can`t say much about it - as i only seen it on photos and the producer is kinda poor in details, which i don`t like. Reviewers says: - CPU cooler height: 6.10-inch (154mm) :-/ 212+ is 15,9cm. I would really recommend you to buy Core 3000 / Fractal R3. With Fan Xpert software you could set the back and top fans @ 500rpm. Hot air "goes" up, when there`s no top fan - it can`t go out and back fan @ 800rpm won`t handle the task to get rid of it - so the hot air stays inside :( You could buy Noctua NH-U12P SE2: http://www.komplett.dk[...] (will be fine with Core 3000 and R3) and set the speed to 600-700rpm (2 reducing speed adapters plugged into 1 fan). Fractal R3 has side and top fan holes covered with noise blocking material by standard. You just take it off when you want to install fan, but front + back + top fans @ 600rpm will be OK - i use such a solution in my case. So with SSD (no noise), AX PSU (no noise) your fans will be 500-700rpm. Even with a top fan it won`t be noisy. I was testing solution with no top fan with my case (Antec P183) and 600rpm front + back fans. In summer the cpu temperature with Noctua NH-D14 @ idle was 47 (downcooled after 10 minutes).

#9 The NH-D14 will not fit with high profile RAM. Therefore it will most likely not work with the Vengeance RAM choosen. The AX-750 is a 1000+ moneywise PSU that is not superior to a SeaSonic @ dkr100 less or a Silver Power @ dkr300 less. Corsair's newer PSU's have quite some issues: http://forum.corsair.com[...] I have my selv had a PSU with a DOA fan controller and it sounded like a vacuum cleaner on drugs! The SSD option is a gamble or a lottery - you MIGHT get a stable speciment but you are more likely to get into all sorts of problems. On the other hand you can suspend your platter-harddrive in elastics and have an almost noisefree and rock-solid sollution. And; If you are going to build a PC for gaming the GFX is most likely to be more noisy under load than all other components combined. Cheers!

# 12 1. Check my # 7 - i link to low profile RAM! and i write "Vengeance radiators are incompatible with some cpu coolers." 2. "The AX-750 is a 1000+ moneywise PSU that is not superior to a SeaSonic @ dkr100 less". Sorry - but you have no idea what you are talking about :-/ AX650/750/850 is produced by SeaSonic for Corsair. It use the same (in +-95%) components as Seasonic X-660/760/850 and exactly the same solutions. You can read more about PSU`s producers here: http://www.tomshardware.com[...] 3. SSD is not a lottery. Where did you get that info? 4. My gaming gfx - GTX 580 + Alpenfohn Peter + 2 x 120mm fans operate @ 800rpm under load (500rpm @ idle) and is more silent than 99% case fans, PSU`s fans of hol users during gaming ... so stop generalizing. But you are right - it`s the noisiest component in my PC. You say about issues and link to general forum? Shall i check each post to search what you are trying to show me? And again "Corsair's newer PSU's have quite some issues:" - read the article which i`ve linked about PSU`s producers - then you`ll understand something (i hope so). # 13 All i can see there is: "Unfortunately the specifications for this fan seem to be quite elusive as a quick search of Google and Sanyo's website didn't turn up any accurate results. However after extensive digging around non-english websites, a few seemed to suggest that the fan is capable of 83CFM at

#14 SeaSonic's new X-series is NOT the same at the AX from Corsair since they have different specs. Your AX-fan might be going at a 500 rpm idle - mine does not go at all when in idle, yet another difference between AX and X ;-) I'm not saying that the AX is a bad PSU - it's just to damn expensive compared to the Silver Power which on the other hand is i bargain. BTW, if you want to find out who has made a particular PSU you should try to use the Ecos ID-method: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com[...] If you frequently using the internet you will discover that there are A LOT of issues with SSD. When you build a system with a SSD you must choose all your other components to be 100% compatible with the particular SSD - and this can be a lottery. Relying on a regular harddrive does not give you this stress since they will work in any hardware-composistion you'd like. SSD is a great child and I hope to se it grow and mature enough to be more that a squealing, pooping, snotty kind of thing that keeps you stressed all night long ;-)
