x670 no boot, black screen

Hey lads, X670 aorus elite ax 7800x3d G.skill tridentz ddr5 6400 (it's on the memory support list. First boot we got bios but couldn't boot from memory stick. Couple of boot loops and black boots. Qflashed bios to newest. Got to bios no problem but still couldn't boot from USB. After first bios it no longer posts bios. Red light for dram is on, but that's not worth diddly squad without error codes. Tried: Clearing CMOS, power cycle, with/ without gpu, 1 memory stick, 2 both slot 2 4 and 1 3, same symptom. Black boot red dram light. All sticks detected in bios, proper temps the few times bios was hit. Tried q flashing another bios, earlier. Same symptoms. If anyone lives near kjellerup and can help he is happy to pay.

Start with only 1 RAM stick, try all slot, start with slot 3. (And in bios NO XMP/EXPO, Clear Cmos if XMP/EXPO)

Already tried all this. At this point I suspect he fucked a pin on cpu install. That can cause dram lights too... I'll write back if that is the case - but please come with suggestions.

#2 I dont think you wil get 6400 mhz runing with latest bios. (Latest bios limit SoC to 1.30 volt, and every other have trouble even to run 6000 mhz with 1.30 SoC) I bet QVL are made before bios limited to 1.30 SoC. And dont drop latest bios. But with clear Cmos and only 1 Ram stick you should get to bios. (You can also update bios one more time with same bios version, and then boot with 1 RAM stick)

Already bios F8 says... Follow AMD guidance to limit max. SOC voltage to 1.3V for Ryzen 7000 series X3D and non-X3D CPUs. Certain EXPO/XMP memory performance may be impacted due to this change. This apply to bios F10 too. BTW 6000 mhz are more optimal than 6400 mhz for 7800x3D. (Running FLCK = ULCK)

The memory kit is listed on the site as compatible and can be run at 6000mhz with nice timings. I had every intention of simply running 6000mhz with decent timings. It looks like he has a bent pin https://imgur.com[...] as seen from here so my suspicion was correct assuming that was the problem and not just another issue... how he managed to bend just a single pin I will never guess.

Pardon, just saw your other post. Yes you could absolutely be right they just never removed certain kits, but with a single stick... I mean he even posted to bios detecting both sticks and full 32gb so it would be odd if it would not be a problem when booting and then suddenly be a problem. To further back this up I literally just built the exact same parts rig for another person without an issue - this I did not build myself physically though so I suspect error 40 (user)

You can forget the compatible (QVL), its before limited to SoC 1.30. (Even with a ok motherboard) Ok, you got there in post #6. :-) But with 6000 mhz you have a chance, with a ok motherboard. (And 2 stick)

BTW I run my G. Skill 6000 mhz CL 30-38-38-96 at... 6120 mhz (FLCK = ULCK) 30-36-36-30 and secondary timings tighten too. But it will depend at your mem-controller at the CPU if you can go there.

So a clear cmos, if that doesn't work take out the cpu check the motherboard and cpu for damaged. If everything looks fine put the cpu back in, mount the cooler, take out all expansion cards, but 1 stick in any dimm slot just for testing and try plugging your monitor into onboard graphics. My first X670 was working but I couldn't upgrade the bios because the vendor left it in a read-only state, but after a motherboard swap everything worked fine.

Thank you kindly. As stated and seen from the images I suspect a bent pin - He does not believe enough in himself to attempt a fix unfortunately so we will simply swap it out. We have to change the fans anyway since computersalg sent dc fans instead of pwm fans... the image is of dc, the text is of pwm, the product we got was dc. Sigh such a hassle.
