Buy a PC - do they build it up in shop?

Hi, i`m thinking about buying new PC. I used to do ... that i select parts on shop website (in Poland) and the shop prepare the PC from the parts that you have chosen. Then you go to shop, or they send you a fully build PC. I couldn`t find t his option here in Denmark. How does the building a PC works here? I even couldn`t find a shop with a nice pc building up website friendly - i had to search for every part by myself (shg, komplett), there was no such a thing like in PL - a configurator: http://bestcom.eu[...] Thanks for any info and advices.

Its alot easier if you can find a shop on your own in the city etc. and then ask them to build the pc from the parts you buy from them. Almost all computer stores in Denmark does that. I dont really know any online shops who lets you do this.

JonathanDK it`s not problem - in danish ... so if you buy from www.shg.dk[...] ... they will send you all parts and then you have to build it on your own? (building is not a problem, i just wanted to know how it works in DK)

#5: If you use Compumail as #2 wrote, you can choose if you want them to build it or if they should just send you the parts :) Also if you use compumail, they will send you an email after you have configured the pc, telling you if the hardware does not work together. (AKA doesnt support each other)

#5 yes you will have to build it on you own. But are u thinking about something like this ? https://www.fcomputer.dk[...] then you can choose what you want, and they will build the computer for you. But this is not a good way, it is very expensive and their computers just sux.

Thanks guys for info, so the best choise, imo, is to buy parts in a good shop and build the computer by yourself :)

#8 well you can make a thread and ask people to make the perfect setup for you. I did that for 1,5 year ago, and my computer is still working very well..

#10 it was much cheaper few years ago, now the prices are similar, even when there`s now good exchange relation - the PLN (polish new zloty) is kinda cheap, so theoritically would be better to buy goods in Poland (changing DKK to PLN), but with the computer goods it`s not working so well (international prices).
